COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT & pARTNERSHIP sUPPORT |
At Empower Education Consulting, our community partnership and engagement consultants are experienced professionals who specialize in facilitating collaborations between organizations and communities. We also have deep experience in helping with clarity, design and implementation regarding MOAs, MOUs and basic partnership agreements. Our role is to help organizations build positive relationships, establish meaningful partnerships, and engage with community stakeholders effectively. Here are some key tasks and responsibilities of community partnership and engagement that our team will provide support:
Community Needs Assessment
We will conduct assessments to understand the needs, interests, and priorities of the community. We will sift through data and surveys, conduct interviews, focus groups, or community meetings to identify key issues, concerns, and aspirations of the community.
Relationship Building
We will work to help establish and maintain strong relationships between organizations and community stakeholders. Focusing on fostering trust, open communication, and mutual understanding through regular interactions, networking events, and collaborative activities.
Partnership Development
We will support your organization by facilitating the development of partnerships between organizations and community groups. We will identify potential partners, assess compatibility, and help establish mutually beneficial collaborations that address community needs and advance organizational goals.
MOA/Agreement Support
We will offer templates, resources and support for your current partnerships that are expiring and/or need adjusting along with helping with new potential partnership agreements.
Stakeholder Engagement
We will assist organizations in effectively engaging with various community stakeholders, including residents, local businesses, nonprofits, government agencies, and advocacy groups. We will also help develop strategies and tools for inclusive and participatory engagement, such as various meetings, focus groups, online platforms, or community forums.
Facilitation and Mediation
We will act as facilitators or mediators in situations where there are differing opinions or conflicts between organizations and the community, helping navigate sensitive discussions, facilitate dialogue, and find common ground to foster constructive outcome
Community Outreach and Communication
We will help develop and implement communication strategies to reach and engage the community effectively by supporting the various channels, such as social media, newsletters, websites, or community events, to disseminate information, gather feedback, and promote community involvement.
Capacity Building
We will provide training, resources, and support to build the capacity of community organizations and stakeholders, offering coaching/skill-building sessions on topics like community organizing, leadership development, or project management, empowering community members to take an active role in shaping their own community.
Evaluation and Impact Assessment
We will assess the impact of community partnership and engagement initiatives by collecting feedback, measuring outcomes, and analyzing data to evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Family Enagagement
Empower Education Consulting understands the importance of helping parents focus on and encourage parental involvement to promote the child’s development, provide information on community resources. We also know that school and educational organizations can use terms and give expectations that may not be easy to understand and you may desire our guidance and advocacy for any challenges or information you may need. Our services for families include providing support services for families with special needs, assisting families and children by providing information and resources regarding housing, food, clothing, mentoring, family support, workshops, and recreation throughout your community. We also provide various family advocacy language needs including Arabic, Amharic and Spanish if needed.
